What we see in Las Vegas homes
- Refrigerators fighting the heat. Kitchens in summer and garage refrigerators run their compressors almost nonstop. Dusty condensers and tired condenser fans fail first, from June through September.
- Hard water. Las Vegas water is very hard. Scale clogs refrigerator water valves and ice makers, coats dishwasher spray arms and heaters, and shortens washer valve life.
- Long dryer vents in two-story homes and condos — the number-one cause of LG dryer d80–d95 codes and no-heat calls.
- Monsoon surges. Late-summer storms knock out power and damage LG control and inverter boards.
