How our pricing works
- Service call: $75. It covers the trip and a full diagnosis of one LG appliance.
- The service call is credited toward the repair. Approve the repair and the $75 becomes part of the total — not an extra charge.
- What the ranges do not cover. Ranges reflect a typical repair and do not include extra work caused by difficult access — for example a built-in or tightly installed appliance, removing trim, cabinetry or other appliances, or additional disassembly and reassembly of the appliance itself. The final price also depends on the supplier's current part price, which changes with market and import conditions.
- Written quote first. After diagnosis you get one price for the repair: parts plus labor. Nothing starts until you approve it.
- No overtime surcharge for weekend appointments within our hours (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM · Sat–Sun 8 AM–4 PM).
- Warranty: 90 days on labor; 1-year manufacturer warranty on parts.
The ranges below are typical totals, based on average western-US repair pricing and set to stay affordable. Where your repair falls in a range depends mostly on the model (an InstaView control board costs more than a top-freezer board) and on how much of the appliance has to come apart.

Is it worth repairing my LG appliance?
A practical rule: if the repair costs less than half of a comparable new appliance and the rest of the unit is in good shape, repair it. LG refrigerators and front load washers are usually worth repairing for 10–14 years; a compressor replacement on a 5-year-old LG French-door refrigerator costs a fraction of a new one. Read our repair-or-replace guide for each appliance.
Pricing questions
Do I pay the $75 service call if I approve the repair?
You pay it once. When you approve the repair, the $75 is credited toward the total, so the price on your quote is the full amount you pay.
What if I decide not to repair?
You pay only the $75 service call. You keep the diagnosis — the technician tells you exactly what failed and what it would cost to fix.
Why are prices shown as ranges?
LG builds many versions of each appliance. The same repair on two models can use parts at very different prices. We quote your exact price after diagnosis, before any work.
Do you charge extra for sealed-system work?
Sealed-system repairs are priced as complete jobs: the part, a new filter-drier, brazing, nitrogen pressure test, deep vacuum and a measured refrigerant charge. See the refrigerator table above.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept cash and major credit and debit cards.
