What makes the WashTower different
The LG WashTower is not just a dryer stacked on a washer. It is one cabinet with one center control panel at eye level that runs both machines. The lower washer and the upper dryer use the same proven LG technology as the stand-alone units, so most parts and error codes match LG front load washers and LG dryers — but service access is different, and the dryer has to be reached in its tower position. We work on WashTowers in tight Las Vegas laundry closets every week.

Las Vegas tip: the vent behind the tower
WashTowers often sit in hallway closets with long exhaust runs to the roof. Lint packs into those runs fast, and the dryer shows d80, d85, d90 or d95 — the number is roughly the percentage of airflow blocked. Long dry times and a hot laundry closet are early signs. Clean the vent from the dryer to the outside hood at least once a year; see LG dryer taking too long.

Totals include parts, labor and the $75 service call. Ranges reflect a typical repair and do not include extra work caused by difficult access — for example a built-in or tightly installed appliance, removing trim, cabinetry or other appliances, or additional disassembly and reassembly of the appliance itself. The final price also depends on the supplier's current part price, which changes with market and import conditions. Your exact price is quoted in writing after diagnosis, before any work starts. 90-day labor warranty; 1-year manufacturer warranty on parts.

WashTower questions
Can you repair the dryer part of my WashTower without removing it?
Most dryer repairs — heating element, belt, rollers, thermal fuse, sensors — are done with the tower in place after pulling it out from the wall. We bring the tools and protection for tight laundry closets.
My whole WashTower is dead. Is it the washer or the dryer?
Both run through the center control panel, so a dead display often points to the control panel, its power supply or wiring rather than either machine. We test the supply voltage and the board before quoting.
Do washer and dryer parts for the WashTower match LG stand-alone models?
Many do — pumps, door locks, heating elements and sensors are often shared — but some parts are WashTower-specific. We look up your exact model.
